Spring Wedding at Sylvanside Farm

Spring Wedding at Sylvanside Farm:

A lot of people don’t know this, but Sylvanside Farm is my MOST photographed wedding venue! I have had the pleasure of capturing weddings at Sylvanside Farm since they first opened, and each one holds a special place in my heart. Right in the heart of Purcelleville, Virginia, this venue offers the perfect “Hunt Country” backdrop and has a ton of customizable options to make your wedding day perfect. I have loved watching every. single. couple make Sylvanside their own and bring to life their vision on their wedding day.

Michelle and Quinn did an incredible job bringing their spring fairytale to life a few weeks ago, and I am so excited to share it with you!

Michelle’s gown from Here Comes the Bride was a showstopper with it’s detachable sleeves! (It’s safe to say, I am a HUGE fan of the sleeve trend that’s happening in the wedding industry right now) And Quinn looked so dapper in his blue suit – blue is my favorite color on ANY guy!

You’ll notice that Michelle and Quinn had a private vow reading in the garden. This is something that I really, really love during wedding days. They had a moment to themselves to tell each other exactly how they feel and to share their promises to one another. I love the fact that these were done where no one can hear them – not even me. There was no pomp and circumstance, no words spoken just to appease parents, no traditional vows – you can tell these words were spoken straight from the heart and that they meant every single one of them. I petition for every couple of mine to take the time to remember what this day truly means and I think the private promises Michelle and Quinn made to each other were the perfect example of this!

Rick’s Flowers knocked it out of the park with the gorgeous “fresh from the garden” vibes in the bouquets and arrangements and the blues and purples paired perfectly with the girls silk and chiffon gown! They said their I Do’s in the Orchard, which is my FAVORITE spot on the farm! The lighting is literally PERFECT there! Followed by a cocktail hour in the stone barn, and dinner and dancing with Soundwave Entertainment in the Poplar Barn. PRO TIP: EVERYONE needs heart shaped glasses and fake microphones at their wedding reception!

I had so much fun watching these two dance the night away and I wish them all the love and luck in their next adventures together!
