Get ready to dive into the sunny springtime dream that was Whitney and Anthony’s engagement session at Blandy Experimental Farm in Boyce, VA. It was a day filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of seasonal allergies – I mean, flowers.

Blandy Experimental Farm was the ultimate playground for our photo-trek. Think acres of non-stop greenery, tons of stunning flowering trees, and a good flower bush, or two. It was the perfect canvas for Whitney and Anthony’s love story to unfold.

Whitney looked so cute in her navy floral dress, while Anthony was looking sharp in his classic button down and jeans combo. These two were like a match made in engagement session heaven, and their energy was contagious!

Mother Nature threw us a curveball with some not-so-sunny weather the first time around. We ended up rescheduling the first go around, but I’m so glad we held out for that stunning sunny and 75 day.

I can’t thank these two enough for trusting me…I mean, I literally made Whitney and Anthony sit in a bush for the perfect shot—and let me tell you, it was worth every thorn!

As the sun dipped below the horizon, we wrapped up Whitney and Anthony’s engagement bash with hearts full of love and memories to last a lifetime. Complete with my absolute favorite – a messy champagne spray complete with pouring champs in each other’s mouths! Rain, shine, or bush-sitting, these two were absolute rockstars, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of their love story!

Whitney and Anthony, you guys are the real MVPs. Thanks for bringing the sunshine (literally and figuratively) to our shoot and for trusting me to capture your love in all its glory. Here’s to many more adventures and countless moments of pure joy, and to an epic wedding in the fall!
