There are so many things I could say about this gorgeous Stonewall Golf Club wedding! First of all, Charlotte and Matthew were an absolute dream. When Charlotte and her mom met me at Starbucks only a few short months ago, I knew this was going to be a wedding to remember. You see, these two have jobs that aren’t for the faint of heart. With Matthew in the Army and Charlotte as a pediatric nurse, this power couple had only months to plan a wedding before Matthew was re-assigned all the way across the US. But boy, did they pull it off!

When I first arrived to the hotel, the girls were already having a blast! Charlotte had some of the best bridesmaids, who you could tell really, really loved this girl. They were definitely on top of things, and made my job so easy! Once Charlotte was ready to get in her dress, we had the girls step out of the room so we could host a BIG reveal! And let me tell you, those were some of the greatest reactions EVER! Her Stella York dress fit her like a glove, and her two tiered cathedral veil tied the entire look together. She looked like a real Disney Princess! Which is fitting, since she actually used to play Elsa for kids at her hospital!

When we finished getting ready, it was time for me to head over to the church where these two would tie the knot! My favorite videographer team, Harrison Films, was with me every step of the way, and let me tell you – we create some serious magic together! The gorgeous Aquia Episcopal Church was the perfect backdrop for their vows. With the beautiful vaulted ceilings and intricate seating design, it was definitely a unique place for a wedding. I loved watching these two see each other for the first time, and they were nothing smiles at the alter! Matthew couldn’t take his eyes off her!

After the ceremony, these two receded through a saber arch and waltzed right into their portrait time! We had so much fun snagging all sorts of portraits of them throughout the day, both at the Church and at the reception site! Everyone at Stonewall Golf Club made our day a breeze. They gave us golf carts, complete with a decked out “JUST MARRIED” cart for our sweet couple, and drove us all around the course. I am so thankful these two trusted me to sneak out for a few minutes at sunset for a few last shots together. These are always my favorite! We even popped some confetti canons, courtesy of The Harrisons, and ended the night with a literal BANG! (I may or may not be obsessed with confetti and want to do this ALL the time now!)

I am so honored I got to witness such an incredible couple share such a momentous day together, and even though we only had a few months together, these two will forever hold a special place in my heart. Cheers to their next adventure!
